Scythe Armament’s new Level IIIA/HG2 hard Flat Composite plate offers advanced, multi-hit ballistic protection.

Features:

• Stand-alone armor plate with multiple-hit capability, rated to withstand up to five hits from:
  .44 magnum bullets at 1474 ft/s from 17.3 feet
• A cost-effective way to protect yourself from most handgun rounds and blunt force trauma weapons
• Can be used as an added ICW plate for soft armor vests
• Composite design minimizes back face deformation, providing strong impact resistance
• Encapsulates fragments internally to prevent shrapnel escape
• Plate thickness: 7/16″
• Fits most common carrier vests (we have a full line of compatible carriers)
• Plate Sizes available: 6×6, 6×8, 8×10, 10×12, 11×14
• Independently tested by HP White Laboratory and certified to comply with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for ballistic resistance of body armor
